Loved the ambiance and authentic Italian feel! Food was great! I only gave a 4 star as my steak was not perfect, but decent. I should have done the pasta like my daughter (chicken parm) hers was 👍. This was the perfect pre-show dinner. It was packed. Recommend reservations. We had them and waited. Good wine 🍷 … More

I have been to this place a few times before or after attending a theater show. I love these guys!!! So welcoming and fun, we light it up when I visit this play. The ambiance is amazing, every eating great food and having a great time. The kind of place you can talk loud and enjoy your time! This last visit, I happen to meet the owner, was with a group of people having fun and also enjoying the great vibes of this place.
I had Penne a La Vodka with grilled chicken. We also had Champagne toasting for a great moment in time!

We had dinner here before seeing a show down the street. It was a nice day and the front of the restaurant was open to air, which was very nice. The service was great and our food was delicious! Our group had the asparagus appetizer, beet … More

Traditional Italian flair. The meat wasn't tender, but the flavor profile was spot on. The crab cakes were flavorful but not overpowering. I received 2 very large filets that was coated in a lush gooey cheese. The portion sides was huge. I can make 3 meals of it. It was such a cute and quaint spot that I was drawn in. More

We went there with friends after broadway show to have a nice light dinner. The place was inviting, decorated in ‘castle’ style with dimmed lights and pleasant atmosphere. The weather that day was hot even at the night and the wide opened … More

The most delicious Italian food I’ve ever had in New York! The service was absolutely excellent — thank you to our waiter for the great mood and amazing food. There was also another guy who kept joking with us — his jokes were so funny! Huge thanks to the chefs for the incredibly tasty dishes. My favorite one was the mushroom soup — oh my God, it was unbelievably delicious!

We had very low expectations going here, but like most people who probably stumble into Il Forno we were quite hungry after a show and decided it would probably be fine. And it was fine! There was no wait, we were seated immediately, and … More

We are in town celebrating my mum’s 60th birthday, and ended the night at Il Forno.. they went above and beyond to make sure the dinner was perfect & that mum really ended her night feeling special and celebrated. Our fantastic waiter Eric was incredible and truly attentive, the entire staff at Il Forno made this a meal/birthday we won’t forget!
I had the grilled chicken pizza and it was so good loved the pesto base compared to the traditional marinara base. My mum did the set menu and had a Caesar salad, chicken Alfredo & tiramisu - great portion sizes and food came out freshly cooked and hot!
If we are ever back in the city we will definitely return!
